Abstract
A keylogger, also known as a keystroke or system monitor, is a powerful technology used in particular to monitor and record every keystroke typed on a specific device. The Usage Of keyloggers is primarily for keystrokes monitoring (i.e.) can be used for stealing sensitive data and for monitoring in unethical terms. This paper discusses various keylogging techniques, the potential ethical implications, and provides an overview of different types of password attacks and prevention and detection techniques to mitigate keylogger attacks and data theft.
