TRIMARAN: A Toolbox for Radiometric Imaging with Microwave ARrays of ANtennas

Abstract
This article aims at describing a Matlab toolbox named TRIMARAN intended to be used for Radiometric Imaging with Microwave ARrays of ANtennas. Of course, only a few functions, the most important ones, out of the 200 included in the toolbox are discussed and illustrated. In addition to this overview of TRIMARAN, some concrete usages made by researchers, engineers or students are shown to illustrate the capabilities of this toolbox. It has been used for designing aperture synthesis imaging radiometers and for quantifying instrument performances as well as for discovering and for learning many aspects of microwave remote sensing by aperture synthesis with realism.
