Abstract

The article provides information about gas fuels currently used in internal combustion engines, their types and composition. The analysis of the fuels used in these engines, as well as the types of fuels that meet today's environmental requirements, is also presented. The analysis of scientific research work carried out on the economic and environmental significance of the transition to natural gas fuel in the conditions of global warming and reduction of oil reserves today is described.
