Abstract
A MATLAB-based graphical user interface (GUI) is presented for the optimal design of Type II and Type III controllers for DC-DC converters, including buck, boost, and buck-boost types. This GUI combines traditional design methods with computational algorithms, allowing users to automatically calculate and display the required parameter values for both controller types. It simplifies the design process while, at the same time making sure that the converters operate with enhanced stability, faster transient response, and reduced steady-state error. This interface thereby supports optimization under various conditions of operation, thus facilitating the gap between theoretical analyses and practical implementation, making it easier for engineers to achieve optimal.
