Abstract
The article examines the hydraulic resistance during drying of mineral fertilizer at the outlet of a drum dryer. From the analysis of existing designs of nozzles , their operating parameters were analyzed based on multi-stage system analysis based on the MATLAB program, and an improved design scheme for a two-component nozzle was developed. Based on the obtained regression equation, the optimal parameters for the values of the determined criteria were determined: dryer performance, nozzle angle, coolant speed and coolant temperature.
