Abstract

The global spread of the new coronavirus infection has had a strong destructive effect on the socio-economic situation in the EAEU countries, which required the search for factors that could quickly influence its improvement. The analysis showed that the factors of the external and internal environment can have both positive and negative impact on the socio-economic situation in the EAEU. Particular attention should be paid to the role of internal factors and, first of all, the effectiveness of the work of authorities at all levels, because they are the ones who are able to control other factors and set the directions for their development, relying on the resource potential.
