Abstract:
Companies investigate decision supports systems (DSSs) for facility location selection to reduce cost and manage risk. In this paper, a decision support system for location selection is proposed based on a house of quality (HOQ) method, adopting an analysis to fuzzy logic and triangular fuzzy numbers. Special attention is also paid to the subjective assessment in the HOQ concept. Further, the differences between decision makers are taken into account. Finally, a case study is presented to demonstrate the procedure of the proposed algorithm and identify the suitable location.
