strategies for its development. The study conducted surveys among schoolchildren and teachers in different
regions of Uzbekistan. It was determined that spiritual education should be carried out, especially through the
joint influence of the school and the family. The results show that state and public participation are also
important for the development of spiritual education. The article provides suggestions and recommendations
for the development of this process.
1 INTRODUCTION
A knowledge-based society provides a solid
foundation for the intellectual and spiritual
development of man in today's era of globalization.
Spiritual education in such societies is not only an
important element of personal development, but also
a necessary condition for General Social
Development. Spirituality consists of a system of
meanings and beliefs based on a person's moral
values, social attitudes and national self, which shape
a person's attitude towards society and the
environment. Spiritual education is especially
important for the younger generation, since their
future lifestyle, moral decisions and role in society
depend on this upbringing. At the same time,
strategies for the development of this process in a
knowledge-based society require constant attention.
2 RELEVANCE OF THE TOPIC
The Republic of Uzbekistan, while maintaining its
national spirituality, is making significant progress
towards the development of a knowledge-based
society through the modern educational system. In
particular, the spiritual education of the younger
generation has become one of the most important
directions of state policy. Notable in this regard are
reforms to the education system, the establishment of
spirituality and ethics classes in schools and higher
education institutions, and the strengthening of the
upbringing environment in the family. The role of
spiritual education in a knowledge-based society is
multifaceted, it affects not only personal, but also all
spheres of society. Through spiritual values, human
behavior, place in society, civic duty, family relations
and social responsibility are formed. In this respect,
the development of individual spirituality and
strategies aimed at increasing it are of great
importance in the sustainable development of each
country.
In Uzbekistan, a number of activities and projects
are carried out in this direction today. In particular,
the decisions of the president of the Republic of
Uzbekistan dated November 28, 2018 No. 4038 "on
approval of the concept of further development of
national culture in the Republic of Uzbekistan", the
Cabinet of Ministers dated December 31, 2019 No.

spiritual education and measures to implement it", -

In this process, not only educational institutions
are actively involved, but also families, cultural
institutions and community organizations. In today's
society, the strategies used by the State play an
important role in the development of moral education
and spirituality, in the formation of the attitude of
young people towards the future. This creates the
necessary foundations for the development of the
spiritual education of the individual in society.
3 LITERATURE ANALYSIS
Currently, a number of studies have been carried out
on the role of spiritual education in personal and
social development. In his article, khamidullayeva
(2024) argues that spiritual education is a focal point
for the development of society, reflecting on how it
affects overall development through individual
spirituality. He noted that upbringing should be
carried out not only in the family or educational
institutions, but on the scale of society as a whole,
since the spiritual development of the individual sets
the stage for the development of the whole society
(Khamidullayeva, 2024). Mirazimova (2020), on the
other hand, expressed her views on the role of the
family in spiritual education. His research has shown
that the spiritual environment in the family plays a
fundamental role in the moral formation of the child.
The family is the first and most important institution
that maintains spiritual values and brings them to the
future generation (Mirazimova, 2020). Also,
Salahiddinov (2023) in his work talks about the role
of historical development, culture and spirituality in
the development of society. He points out that culture
and spirituality are interdependent, noting that
national and cultural values can also be maintained
through the development of spirituality
(Salahiddinov, 2023). The analysis of these literature
shows that the spiritual education of the individual
and the strategies for its development occupy an
important place for the development of society.
Spirituality is associated not only with individual, but
also with Social Responsibility, which is important in
state politics.
4 METHODS

discussions of National films, online civil courts, a
survey of 200 students of graduating classes of
General secondary schools of Bukhara, Andijan,
Karshi region and 300 prospective students studying
in higher education institutions was obtained. The
survey asked 20 questions that help to identify the
problem and find a solution to it, in which participants

education”, substantiate the role and relevance of
these concepts in society and personality maturation,
while they were asked to assess the environment of
personal and social spirituality, family The data was
systematized using the Microsoft Excel program and
analyzed in the SPSS program. The results of the
study were compared through statistically reliable
indicators to determine the place of individual
spirituality in the development of society.

that, according to the data, new methods aimed at
improving the spiritual education system in schools
should be introduced, especially strengthening the
training of teachers in this regard. In the process of
developing educational programs related to school
spiritual education, it is necessary to act on the basis
of national and social values. The results of the table
show that in increasing the moral development and
social responsibility of students, their adaptation to
the educational environment of the family and school
is of great importance.
6 DISCUSSION
The results of the study show that the spiritual
education of a person in a knowledge-based society is
one of the most important factors in the development
of society. According to a survey of students and
teachers, the place of school and family in the process
of spiritual education is very large. The spiritual
education provided at the school, in particular, the
knowledge and qualifications of teachers in this
regard, has a strong influence on the moral
development of children. At the same time, the
spiritual environment in the family is taking the field
as a decisive factor in the formation of the child's
personal moral values and social behavior. The data
obtained in the study also showed the need for further
development of spiritual education in school. New
strategies for spiritual education should be developed
based on the needs expressed by teachers and
students. These strategies should focus on increasing
the social responsibility of students, maintaining and
strengthening national values. This information
means that it is necessary that not only school and
family, but also society as a whole participate in the
development of individual spirituality. This process
can be further strengthened, especially through state-
sponsored spiritual programs.
At this point, we will try to identify the
peculiarities of the "knowledge-based society".
Knowledge in a knowledge-based society is the
basis of Science, production, innovation,
technological progress and competitiveness as the
main drivers of the economic development of society.
All areas of community life: education, health,
culture, politics, and more are governed by
knowledge-based approaches. The prevalence of
information and communication technologies (ICT),
provides fast and efficient data delivery, scientific
research support, online education and other
opportunities.
In social development, the emphasis on human
capital increases, and the role of functionally
competent and creative individuals increases. In order
to develop the mental potential of a social society,
investment in scientific research, innovation,
education and culture is achieved. The activities of
democratic institutions are strengthened and the
ability of citizens to make decisions based on
knowledge is ensured.
In economic development, society emphasizes the
orientation of the economy towards knowledge-based
sectors, i.e. investment in scientific research,
technological
progress, innovation, education and

culture. Competitiveness in the world economy
increases the reason for the potential of advanced
technologies, innovations and qualified personnel.
New jobs will be created in knowledge-based areas.
National culture and lifestyle based on the human
value factor, a lifestyle is formed that focuses on
communicating with each other, learning new
knowledge, thinking critically, solving problems.
New forms of society in self-organization and
management: internet platforms, online community,
opportunities are created for citizens to increase their
activity through the Internet.
At this point, we found it necessary to give the
following definition to the concept of a knowledge-
based society. A knowledge-based society is a model
of a new society that develops under the influence of
Economic, Social Development, National Culture
and technological innovation, as well as the
importance of human capital, where the new "value
and knowledge" of a healthy lifestyle is the main
focus.
In addition to the intellectual potential of a person
and his ability to innovate, the spiritual education of
a person and his moral qualities are also important in
the development of society, which is determined by
the following factors (see Figure 1).
Through continuous education and upbringing in
a knowledge-based society, it is advisable to organize
training, master classes, training courses in the areas
of humanism, national and universal values,
responsibility in society, critical and analytical
thinking, expansion of the scientific and religious
worldview, adaptation to the development of social
society and the understanding of its personal
responsibility in it.
Based on the analysis and recommendations we
carried out, we defined the essence of the concept of
spiritual education of the individual as follows. In a
knowledge - based society, the spiritual education of
a person is a complex process that provides an
intensive - integrative development of moral,
spiritual, intellectual and social qualities of a person,
making it a complex process aimed at content such
abilities as living an independent life based on duty,
responsibility, self-awareness and development,
access to communication in society.
Recognizing the importance of human capital in
the internationalization of education, the dependence
of human capital on innovative knowledge and
continuous spiritual education in the development of
Social Society for the principles of future education
and sustainable dissemination, it is advisable to carry
out individual spiritual education in a continuous way
Innovation and progress: together with new technologies, innovations and
scientific discoveries, the spiritual and moral qualities of a person are also very
important for the development of society. For example, in processes such as
solving environmental problems, establishing justice in society, promoting
cooperation and tolerance, the influence of individual spiritual education is high.
Community sustainability: building trust and cooperation between
people, strong spiritual values are important factors in overcoming
problems such as resolving conflicts in society, reducing crime, increasing
trust and respect among people.
Self-awareness and development of a person: the realization and
development of national values in the spiritual education of a person
contributes to the fact that a person finds the meaning of life, self-
awareness and lives happily.
Competitiveness: in the context of internationalization and global competition, a
person with a high level of spiritual education is distinguished by the ability to
work in a team, the ability to think creatively, respect and cooperate with others,
in addition to his professional qualifications.

7 CONCLUSION
In a knowledge-based society, the spiritual education
of a person is a focal point not only of personal
development, but also of social progress. The results
of the study showed that by improving the
atmosphere of spiritual education in the school and
family, it is possible to significantly influence the
moral development of the younger generation. The
role of teachers in this process is large, which helps
to increase the social responsibility of students. At the
same time, spiritual values and social relations
formed in the family are also important for the moral
development of the individual. Thus, the state, school,
family and community must act together in strategies
to promote individual spirituality. These strategies
promote the spiritual maturity of the individual, with
a focus on preserving national values and traditions.
According to the results of this study, the spiritual
education of an individual is important in a
knowledge-based society, the development of which
serves as the basis for the sustainable development of
society. According to the opinions of teachers and
students, the successful implementation of spiritual
education is inextricably linked with the joint
influence of school and family. The need to improve
the process of spiritual education in schools
especially requires an increase in the training of
teachers, since they play a fundamental role in the
formation of the moral values of the younger
generation. The study shows that through the joint
efforts of the state, school, family and public in the
development of spiritual education, it is possible to
achieve the upbringing of the younger generation in
the spirit of national and social values. To further
strengthen this process in the future, it is necessary to
develop new strategies and improve existing styles.
