Abstract

Creating a student individualized evaluation path composed by a sequence of activities is a hard task and requires efforts and time for teachers. In such cases, the activities have to be well adjusted to the latent knowledge of specific students groups. In this paper, we propose a hybrid system that automatically selects and recommends activities based on a historical evolution of past students during the teaching-learning process. Our system is supported by the hybrid usage of Item Response Theory and techniques of clustering to output different kinds of recommendations as filters to select activities and build the tailored evaluation path.
