Abstract

Over the past years Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) have been applied to a range of fields from military applications to medical and multimedia ones. Meanwhile, robots have managed to prove their necessity in cases where actuation is needed, therefore, achieving high accuracy tasks indeed. New prospects of collaboration for these two avant-garde technologies have already emerged and have been put into practice. In this paper a min-review of this collaboration and the prospects are analysed and discussed.
