Abstract

In order to manage a sensor network efficiently, we can divide it logically into disjoint parts, called clusters. As sensor nodes are resource-constraint, it is desirable to chose suitable cluster heads and do role-switching of the cluster heads wherever appropriate. In this work, we design a system that selects new cluster head through collaboration of multiple software agents in each cluster. Our system allows to pick up cluster heads dynamically based on current network status. Agents in our design use Fuzzy Logic-based controller to find new cluster heads.
