The sanitary conditions and food handler’s hygienic practices were investigated using observation checklists. The number of E.coli was investigated in laboratory using MPN E.coli. Statistic results showed that there were a correlation between utensil napkin that was different with table napkin/dirty napkin with number of E.coli (p>0,002) and a correlation between using gloves while serving food and number of E.coli (p>0,002). Most of the sanitary conditions and food handler’s hygienic practices had no correlation with number of E.coli in Pecel Tumpang in Kediri City.
