Abstract:
A WLAN interface for a Wireless EEG System is presented in this paper. Selection of broadcasting band, available hardware, and connection algorithm to use are discussed before making a choice. Two alternatives were explored: Wireless EEG Device (Holter) and its Server communicate with each other within the same physical network, and from a complex network like the Internet. Results of experimental tests carried out on the prototype demonstrate the functionality of the implemented interface.
