Abstract:
This study aims to assess the suitability of lesson plan components for learning, knowing the ability of teachers in preparing the lesson plan, and to describe the correlation between lesson plans made by teachers with student achievement. This research was a qualitative descriptive research. Data collection methods used were: 1) questionnaire (lesson plan document analysis), 2) interviews and 3) documentation. Lesson plan documents that have been collected were analyzed, based on the completeness of the components, including the formulation of learning objectives, content presented, time and language allocated. The data obtained was processed by using the product moment correlation formula to determine the correlation between lesson plan with student learning outcomes then draw conclusions. The results showed that the completeness of lesson plan component of was 100% (very good category).The formulation of learning objective was 89% (good category), while the content presented was 9
3% (good category). On the other hand, time allocation and language got 100% (very good category) and 83% (good category), respectively. In addition, the relation between lesson plan and student learning outcomes was linear.
