Abstract: In this paper we propose to use a coarse system overview from the beginning of the analysis stage to better support the development team of multiagent systems in finding an architectural approach direction to the envisioned system. For this we propose to transfer the syntax of use cases modeling to the analysis / architectural design stage of designing preliminary roles and interactions. The reasons to use this is that modeling with use case syntax is lightweight, intuitive and well-known to most developers. We also present a plugin for RENEW which is capable of drawing use cases and generating code structures for multi-agent applications in the context of MULAN.
