Abstract: The paper describes a method for adaptive planning of imaging operations for a multi-satellite swarm in real time, based on a multi-agent approach. The key object in this approach is the intelligent agent of an application for imaging of the observation object. Its goal is the most advantageous placement in the schedule. The solution to the optimization problem is obtained as a result of reaching an equilibrium point in multiple negotiations between agents through mutual compromises and concessions. The paper provides a brief problem statement of planning the operation of a multi-satellite swarm for Earth remote sensing (ERS). Furthermore, it describes the developed method, which makes it possible to process applications for imaging observation objects in real time. The paper also presents results of experimental studies that demonstrate efficiency of the developed multi-agent method in solving this problem versus traditional approaches. Finally, prospects for further development and practical application of the presented method are discussed. (More)
