Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the acquisition of vocabulary for a child 2,5 year ages.The problem of this research is first, how the acquisition of vocabulary child aged 2.5 year?Second, what is the classification of the types of vocabulary that is often spoken by children aged 2.5 years?This study applied a qualitative approach. That was conducted at Muara Beres, Cibinong, the research period is December 2018 to June 2019.The research subject is a 2.5 year old child. Sources of research data for children aged 2.5 years and their parents are.Collectedby observation and interviews. All data were analyzed (1) transcribe the findings data (2) then classify the findings data, (3) then the data in the analysis is adjusted to the formulation of the problem, (4) conclusions. The results of the study found 25 vocabulary words consisting of 16 nouns, 8 verbs, and 1 adjective.
