Abstract

Based on theoretical research and measured data analysis, a multi-target and quantifiable assessment system for mathematical models of reservoir sedimentation was established. In this system, both typical physical model tested data and prototype materials were used to form a case database. The indexes were selected individually. Both analytic hierarchy process and structural equation models were adopted. The system can conduct quantitative assessments of numerical simulations for sediment levels within sediment laden river-reservoir systems .
