Abstract

This paper presents the framework of elaboration of help in a text-processing computer-based learning environment. A multiagent software system have been developed including help. Then it was tested in participants who had to learn autonomously and for which we analyzed the behavioral pattern of using help. Results showed a lack of regulation and highlight the need for adding a metacognitive guidance enabling learner to efficiently use help.
