Abstract

This paper describes a CBIR system presenting two key points: a generic CT data, as well as a novel algorithm for combining visual features. The descriptors express grey levels, texture and shape of the images. A normalization method is proposed in order to improve the quality of indexing and retrieval. Our selected features and our combination method are effective for retrieving images from a whole-body reference set.
