NOTIFICATION SERVICES FOR MOBILE AND WIRELESS TERMINALS - A Class of Services Appropriate for Mobile Scenarios

Abstract

We introduce the concept of a notification service and show that while simple this class of services is especially suited for mobile scenarios and many useful mobile services can be considered as notification services.
