Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of motivation and discipline to learn together the learning achievement of the students' English reading. Knowing the influence of motivation to learn to read English learning achievement of students. As well as determine the effect of the discipline of learning to read English learning achievement of students. This study uses survey, The population in this study is total VIII classes totaling 90 learners, while the number of samples by using the formula obtained 90 respondents Slovin, The results showed that there is significant influence learning motivation of independent variables (X1) and the Discipline of Learning (X2) jointly against English Reading Achievement (Y). There is a significant influence of independent variables X1 (Motivation) on the dependent variable Y (Achievement Learning English Reading). There is a significant influence of independent variables X2 (Discipline Study) on the dependent variable Y.
