Synthesis and Electrochemical Performance of Keggin-type Polyoxometalate Gels

Abstract

Three Keggin-type vanadium-substituted polyoxometalate gels, [PyPS]6PW9V3O40, [PyPS]4PW11VO40 and [PyPS]4PMo11VO40 have been synthesized and characterizated. The relationship between the component elements of the vanadium-substituted polyoxometalate gels and their electrochemical performance has been investigated. The results show that [PyPS]4PMo11VO40 has stronger oxidability than [PyPS]6PW9V3O40 and [PyPS]4PW11VO40.
