Abstract

Study of evaluation of library organization with Indonesian National Standard in State Junior High School Bandung. This research is motivated by the demands of the implementation of SNI of School Library that has been published in 2009. And it is expected that 5 years after the SNI is published, it can be done. The main issues studied in this research are: "Is the implementation of the State Junior High School library in Bandung is in accordance with the SNI of School Library? This research was conducted with the aim to evaluate the school library scholarship with the SNI of School Library field. The method used in this research is evaluative method. The respondents of this research are the library managers of SMP Negeri Kota Bandung. SNI of School Library itself has been published in 2009 and is expected to be realized after 5 (five) years. Through evaluative analysis, it is expected to bring a positive impact, which in the end can organize school library in accordance with the SNI field library. In general aspects of management, human resources and facilities also infrastructure library based on the SNI has been on good criteria, although not all aspects are met. The recommendation is the school library should meet all the criteria contained in the SNI of the school library field. This is so that the implementation of library programs is standardized and meet the criteria.
