Abstract

This study aims to find out the role of internal communication in the development of organizational culture and its effect on the organization’s performance. The qualitative methodology is complemented by a critical review of relevant literature. The resultshows that internal communication plays an important role in the development of organizational culture. Organizational culture should be well implemented because it impacts, not only on the organization but also on its members who are central to the organization’s overall performance. The study concludes thatgood organizational culture generated byeffective internal communication leads to higher performance in the organization.. Every organization has to find what kind of internal communication fits in with its organizational culture.
