AN EXPERT SYSTEM FOR DECISION SUPPORT OF THE TOTAL ALLOCATION OF AGRICULTURE NON-POINT SOURCE POLLUTION - A Case of Tiaoxi Watershed

Abstract

This paper develops an expert system for waste load allocation of agricultural non-point source (ES-WLAANS) to assist environment administrators in making decision in optimal solution of allocation. ES-WLAANS includes a decision model at its core which is built based on analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and a closely related database. Tiaoxi watershed is the case study area. The results showed that ES-WLAANS can enhance the efficiency of allocation of agriculture NPS pollution for environmental administrators.
