Abstract

A Pseudo True Random Binary Generator (PTRBG) based on a Nested Linear Chaotic Maps (NLCM) is proposed. Implementing the synchronization of chaotic systems presents a challenge. The paper proposes an implementation of a generation and synchronization method of PTRBG using NLCM and backward iteration synchronization approach. A prototype has been developed through Texas Instruments TMS320C6416 DSP development kit. Randomness tests of the generated bits of the PTRB is performed using the NIST statistical test suite.
