In fast changing markets, dynamic collaboration ability involves establishing and "enacting" business relationships in an adaptive way taking into account context changes. This relies on using adaptable and flexible IT platforms. Service orientation can address this challenge. Accordingly, collaborative processes can be implemented as a composition of a set of services. However, combining "directly" elementary IT services is a hard task and presents risks in both service provider and user sides. In this paper we present a high-level structure called Service Domain which orchestrates a set a of related IT services based on BPEL specifications. To ensure the Service Domain adaptability to context changes our approach aims to prove the benefits of bringing Aspect Oriented Programming.

This paper presents a high level Petri-Net approach for specifying and verifying views over composite Web service. High level Petri-Nets have the capacity of formally modelling and verifying complex systems. A view is mainly used for tracking purposes as it permits representing a contextual snapshot of a composite Web service specification. The use of the proposed high level Petri-Net approach is illustrated with a running example that shows how Web services composition satisfies users’ needs. A proof-of-concept of this approach is also presented in the paper.

The crucial problem of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) is the semantic integration problem. This latter is not correctly addressed by today's EAI solutions that focus mainly on the technical and syntactical integration. Addressing the semantic aspect will promote EAI by providing it more consistency and robustness. Some efforts are suggested to solve the semantic problem, but they are still not mature. This article will propose an approach that combines both ontologies and web services in order to overcome some issues related to the semantic integration problem.

This paper presents the first results of a research-partnership between Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de St Etienne (G2I) and St-Microelectronics (Rousset - France). We explain the results of a first stage of research works which aim at developing a method for the management of the evolution of information systems. Our current contribution consists in a domain-oriented enterprise modelling approach. We justify the structure of the meta-model proposed and we show its links with evolution management.
