Abstract

There is described a novel technique of the noise suppression in X-Ray computed tomography (CT) images. At describing this technique a special attention is paid to the subsequent 3D reconstruction of the human body internal structures being investigated. The work has been implemented under the support of the Russian Foundation of Basic Research (RFBR), project Nº 08-01-12011-ofi.
