KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT IMPLEMENTATION METHODOLOGY - Towards a Practical Approach

Abstract

Different perspectives from different areas contribute to the consolidation of the knowledge management research area. However, due to its underdeveloped aspect, the KM model and systematics for KM implementation found in the literature are still being discussed and there is still a gap between theoretical frameworks and technological implementation. The lack of a systematic for KM implementation may be due to the use of reductionist disciplines which do not take into consideration that KM complexity requires an integrative and holistic approach. The objective of this research work is to propose a methodology for KM implementation, comprising a KM holistic model and a systematic for knowledge management implementation to help an organization define its technological requirements
