Abstract: In the paper the problem of stability and stabilization of a class of continuous bidirectional systems has been considered. The system has been described in the form of a continuous linear 2D model. The LMI approach has been successfully applied to the problem. Sufficient conditions of stability has been stated and proofed. Moreover some simulation results have been appended in the last section.
