Abstract

This paper describes the linguistic assimilation as the Toba Batak’s Natural Resources by Toba Batak people that live in Sitoluama Village and Hinalang Bagasan Village, Toba Samosir district, North Sumatera, Indonesia. It aims at (1) finding linguistic assimilation as the Toba Batak’s natural resources phonemically and phonetically and (2) contributing to the development of the theory of language assimilation. This research is conducted by qualitative design from the viewpoints of phonology and generative morphology approach
