Abstract

In this paper a new mobile browser for geo-referenced pictures is introduced. Based on common embedded GPS and accelerometer sensors, the implemented mobile browser is able to show tagged photos on the web, depending on the direction the user is facing to, allowing a positional-dependent touristic, commercial or cultural preview of our cities. A novel compass-simulator developed using build-in accelerometers data samples represents.
